Divide the number with 2 depending on whether it is an even number or an odd number. For example:

Multiplying 3646 by 5. (3646 x 5)

3646 is an even number. Thus, divide it by 2, which looks like 3646/2= 1823

Now, add 0 to this answer. That is 18230, the answer to this problem.

Multiplying 3645 with 5 (3645 x 5)

3645 is an odd number. Therefore (3645-1)/2= 1822
